I began making jewelry as a way to work with both my hands and creativity. After exploring many different creative mediums, I fell in love with the permanence of metal and stone. My work is inspired by shape, form, my African American heritage, the natural beauty of gemstones, and the countless artworks and objects that influence the way I see the world. Each piece is an exploration of what metal can become when shaped by both intuition and craft.
